Thanks Mrs C, there have been some trying times, but there would have been trying times at home too, these challenges are just in a rolling tin can instead! All is well back at home, with Bump and my father as well, hes still a bit unsteady but staying away from sharp dangerous precipices! We’re all going to be stronger and better people as a result of ll this and what the ceck, you only go around in this world once right? Might as well take SOME chances. Love, The S-Bs

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT THAT FOCUSING ON JUST YOUR FAMILY AND THE IMMEDIATE MOMENT IS SATISFYING AND PEACEFUL. HOPE THAT YOUR FATHER IS DOING WELL. THAT IS TOO BAD. WE HAD SOME FRANTIC AND TENSE MOMENTS ON OUR TRIP, TOO. bE HERE IN THE MOMENT NOW! the other ddistractions at home are not so important as they are when you are home. but home is good, too. keep on keeping on and you’ll be thrilled when youu reach the times of remembnering. say hi to the boys. love, the chapins

I just read your very well written post. Your words painted a clear picture in my mind of what you were going through. Did you sell your rights to your book yet?! I am glad to hear both Dad’s are doing well. Take care and safe travels my friend.

We will miss all of you so much when you go back this week. Even though we haven’t spent a ton of time together outside of the hospital, it was so nice to have you guys home. Safe travels and keep the blog posts coming.

xoxo

Hey thanks Jo, it has been quite a “ride” so far for sure. The U.S. Is really incredible to see from an RV as theres so much diversity in landcape, people, weather, lifestyles, you name it. Comng from crowded Cape Cod, we have always been fascinated b the “great open spaces” where the buffalo do in fact, roam…

If you ever decide to travel to the US, these spots are a must see for sure. And no, they won’t force you to eat any buffalo steaks either 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!

Family aside here, cos you have lots of family and friends commenting already, which is cool – what a lifestyle you’re making for yourself! I’ve more recently become far less partial to long-distance travel, even though I now live some 10,000 miles from my home in Scotland. But when I see the images you have here and read about your “escapades”, I’m really starting to wonder if it would not be a really good idea to head on over to places like Yellowstone, Glacier National Park and also to see the roaming buffalo, without the need for sampling the steaks 😉

Amazing stuff Ralph, and thanks for sharing! Do take good care though, and watch out for those angry bears!

Joseph

The Dads are on the mend, Bumpa has a clean bill of health and my dad is on the mend too. He just needs to stay away from steep cliffs! See you soon hopefully. We go back next week!

Brought me up to date on you physically and emotionally! Hope to see you in Saggy before you leave, or we might have to rendezvous with you again – this time at the airport instead of the Mass. Pike! Great to hear the Dueling Dads are rebounding. ooxoxo
