Hi Kate, its not forward at all! I suggest the 5 th wheel because when you park the RV, the truck can be used to get around town and sight see. We went for a 37 foot Chapparal because it had an office for Jen whereas I just work at the kitchen table usually. I run an internet marketing business and Jen has her own business as well. So all we need is an internet connection and a cell phone so were good in the rv. We actually kept our house and we rent it in the summers nd in off season, so we did not “burn the boats when we reach the shore” so to speak. Our plan s to do i for a solid year but who knows!!!!

I LOVE your site! It is inspiring! My husband and I, after years of playfully fantasizing about it have finally decided to go rv-ing full-time with our two boys (7&1/2 years old and 7 months old). We’ve never even vacationed in one! We want to sell our house and leave it all behind for a time. I’m really glad I have found your website because we really haven’t the faintest idea how to go about doing this.
We’ve gone to some rv places to check out the different kinds and we are certain we want a 5th wheel, and we know what appeals to us; what we want and what we don’t want. check that off the list. Next we need to find my husband a job he can do from “home” and I need to work on the “down-sizing”.
What do you suggest we keep in mind? What do you do for work? Did you sell your house too? how long do you plan to rv for?
I feel a little forward asking you questions like this when we have never met so I understand if you choose not to answer me at all. So I’ll just stalk your blog and learn from that , heh-heh.
