So true and we just went to our first Pacific beach last weekwnd and did te same! We also dipped in the Mississippi which we always wanted to do as well. Most people nevet get the chance to do what youve done, what a great adventure!

Thanks for the welcome! I guess its all what youre not used to! We, coming from Massachusetts love California and San Fran especially. And are now thinking how we could live here full time – we couldnt wait to escape Massachusetts! Sounds like your trip was awesome. Did you make it to Massachusetts or even Cape Cod?

Loola like well be down in the LA area in the Spring to escape the misearble Spring rain in SF!

The interesting thing about this for me is we made the opposite trip a few years ago going FROM california to Connecticut and up the whole coast touring light houses, and then through New England during the fall. It was also our ‘Introduction’ to RV Travel on that trip, our ‘Maiden Voyage’ aboard a Rental RV. It was what inspired us to buy an RV, and we are looking forward to possibly full timing with our daughter next year… Anyway, while I am actually down in Southern California, I still welcome you to the Golden State (The state I cannot WAIT to get OUT of!:)
