We’ve been RVing full time for nearly three months now. So at this point, we feel like the RV is like a second home for us.
At least this is the way me and Jen feel.
I’m never quite sure what the kids thought about living in an RV full time because sometimes they tell us they miss home, they miss their friends, they miss being at school.
So I wasn’t so sure about how they really felt about RVing full time until I stumbled on this picture in a big pile of stuff….
I guess they think RVing full time is pretty cool too…and even a little bit like home.

I love the picture! Is it Eli is it alex? Either one it does not matter, all that matters is that home is really where the heart and the family is…Ted
Thanks Ted. We appreciate your kinds words and as always, thank you for you very kind comments!
Home is where the heart is. All my best. Jake
Thanks Jake. So true. Great to see the kids think that way too!
Dear Ralph and Jen and boys, Eli and Alexander are like the rest of us….kind of happy today wherever while wondering what they are missing if they were some place else. Happy Halloween from the BAD CHAPINS!
They seen ro be having a pretty goos rime here in San Francisco. The tough part is gettung them to do more blog posts!
Hi Mrs Chapin,
Thanks for the note! We are really looking forward to seeing you both over the holidays! The hardest time to be away so far has been Halloween….we’ll see how Thanksgiving goes… Miss you!!!! Xoxoxo
Never forget kids can get bored and want to do ‘something else’ on a daily basis. We have not even started full timing yet, and our 4 year old says “I’m bored” here in the house at least once a day, and usually “I wanna go somewhere” 3-4 times a day…
Keith, happens all the time, however the homeschoolimg does keep them busy! Definitely a challwnge at rines to keep em busy in the summer! Thats why we love KOAs so much RVing. Youll rarely have that issue with your son there. Thanks for the comment!
I LOVE THAT DRAWING! Can’t wait to see it framed somewhere some day. It’s spectacularly awesome! OK, so what is everyone dressing up as this year? XO, Karen
Don’t you especially like “swet”???
Oh ya! How was trick-or-treating in a different hood?
Hi Karen!, It was a fun experience but we missed scaring our neighbors who have seen the boys in their different Halloween costumes since they were babies. Hope you guys have an awesome Thanksgiving!! Love ya, Jen

Very sweet! Our 5 year old loves to show off our fifth wheel and his fold out bed to kids with regular homes. To him it is like living full time in his own clubhouse!
Our kids think their 5 th wheel (and their room) IS a clubhouse!
Great Blog!
Home is where you park it!
Indeed home is wherever you get a pull through camping spot for a 37 foot Chapparal 5th wheel 🙂
